Harini Kannan – Swiss Re

Harini Kannan, has been working as the Assistant Vice President in Environmental and Commodity Markets team with Swiss Re. She has been working with Swiss Re since April 2006 after her Masters in Business Administration from the National Insurance Academy School of Management with specialisation in Insurance and Finance.

Her area of responsibility ranges from marketing to structuring & pricing Weather-Index based Insurance solutions for agriculture and non-agricultural sectors in the Indian market. Harini graduated in computer applications and has an extensive knowledge of software and systems in her area of operation. Her areas of interest include micro-insurance, financial instruments, actuarial & statistical applications and risk management.
