A.A. KHATANA – IREDA

Mr. A.A. Khatana is the Chief General Manager of IREDA. He has a B. E. (Hons.), Electrical from REC Srinagar, M.Tech (Power System) from IIT Delhi, MBA (HRM) from IGNOU. In his career spanning over 28 years, he has worked in different organizations namely Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency, Power Finance Corporation, Central Electricity Authority, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, National Hydro Electric Corporation and Power Development Department J& K Government.

He has presented papers in various Seminars and Conferences on the topics “Cost Reduction in Power Sector in Context of Globalization”, “Model Power Distribution Management System”, “Efficiency Improvement and Optimization in Distribution System”, “Policy and Institutional Issues Impacting Speedy Development of Hydro Electric Projects”, “Energy Security through Renewable Energy and “Advancing Alternative Energy Resources: The Role of Renewables”.
