Ashwini Mehra – State Bank of India

Mr. Ashwini Mehra is the Deputy General Manager of State Bank of India (SBI), Mumbai. He joined State Bank of India in 1979 after post-graduation in Economics from Delhi University. Mr. Mehra is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and has been working in various positions including Credit Analyst & Branch Head. Mr. Mehra’s assignments have taken him to various locations including Ranchi, New Delhi, Jaipur, New York(USA) and Mumbai.

Mr Mehra has extensive experience in the corporate banking sector. He is presently posted at the bank’s Project Finance Strategic Business Unit at Mumbai. In his present assignment at the Bank’s Corporate Centre, Mr. Mehra is facilitating the flow of Bank’s Project Finance to large scale Infrastructure, Industry and Service sectors. He also plays a key role in crystallizing the bank’s policy initiatives for funding infrastructure sectors.
