Manish Velankar – Marsh India Pvt. Ltd.

Manish is an integral part of the infrastructure team of Marsh India and looks after the risk & insurance needs for corporates in a wide range of sectors like power, steel, construction, roads, and ports. He has handled the property insurance and engineering insurance requirements for these clients. He has worked on consultancy assignments as a risk advisory for large infrastructure projects.

He has experience of more than two years in working with players in the renewable energy sector in India. He has been working on the carbon delivery guarantee and wind power derivatives products specifically.

Prior to joining Marsh, he was working with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co Ltd for more than two years in the Corporate Solutions Group team. He was involved in corporate business development and client servicing for their general insurance needs, especially for large MNC and Indian infrastructure clients.

Manish holds a PGDBM in Finance & Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and B.E. in civil engineering from IIT Mumbai.
